Little restaurant with amazing food, very friendly and professional service. We had Benny Eggs and Mediterranean gnocchi and they came fast and on hot plates, which is a nice touch. You can feel a personal accents in this place, it feels like home - the food is very tasty, portions are massive. Clean, modern place (with a pretty bathroom!) which is definitely worth a visit.
Thank you Hetty, Simon and the Team for the great experience to taste your food! I had the Devon steak and my partner a smashed burger. It was so delicious and even a simple Mushroom sauce can have such a great taste if cooked properly. Sadly we have to go back to Germany soon, but I'm sure we'll see you again some day! Oh and by the way my fruit crumble with clotted cream was insane. Great spot to dine! Wish you all the best!
Had a really great Christmas lunch with my fellow researchers in Exeter. The three course lunch was brilliant. Best part was the steak, had rare which was really juicy and delicious. It was also massive which was perfect. The desert was too sweet for me but the prawn cocktail was also great. Would recommend anyone to come here.
